Leigh Bennett from Fidelity Life

Leigh is responsible for product training for advisers nationwide. As an advocate for advisers and with a strong underwriting and operational background, she brings a fresh perspective to product training and upskilling.

Jeff Bailey from Asteron Life

Jeff is Asteron Life’s Training and Technical Specialist. He has over 35 years’ experience as an adviser, sales manager and numerous training and development roles.

Jeff has also worked in adviser regulation and best practice advice process since 2003. Due to his in-depth knowledge of our industry he has been involved with The Skills Organisation as a subject matter expert to help draft and revise our industry Level 5 qualifications. He is also a Delegated Assessor for the Level 5 minimum standard advice process and a facilitator of the Core and Life, Disability and Health Strands. You will see many aspects of his advice process replicated in many adviser groups resources throughout the country.

Assisting Asteron Life’s product development is part of Jeff’s technical role with a strong focus on developing features to meet client circumstances and needs. Furthermore, he develops and presents training material and webinars to help advisers create ‘fit for purpose’ solutions.

Steve Wright from Partners Life

Steve Wright has degrees in Economics and Law and post graduate qualifications in tax and financial planning. He has held legal, sales and product roles in the financial services industry and is currently GM of Professional Development with Partners Life.

Steve is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars and has a regular column on Life Insurance and life insurance advice matters in The Mortgage Mag. Steve’s passion is to help advisers become increasingly proficient in their craft and thus valuable as advisers.

Steve believes in ‘telling it like it is’, because beside competence and integrity, trust and reliability mean everything in financial services.
